Workshops for Meaningful Work
Our workplaces are really communities of people who are looking for ways to express their values and use their strengths to work together effectively as they carry out meaningful work. These workshops respect what your people say matters to them.
Using models such as Intercultural Development (IDI)®, Gallup Strengths®, Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Modes, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)®, and Art of Hosting, Sidney will create a customized program to met the needs of your workplace.
How We Get there
The first step will be for Sidney to meet with key people to learn about your vision and your goals. The next step might be to engage a group to discuss what’s working well or what challenges you face. This may take the form of a focus group, needs assessment, or a collaborative group process like World Café Conversation, an Appreciative Inquiry Summit, Pro-Action Café or an Open Space conversation.
It is also quite possible that you already know what you need and have identified that your team will benefit from a workshop on:
- Team Effectiveness
- Conflict Management
- Diversity & Inclusion
- Change & Transition
- Effective Communication
Before the workshop, Sidney will work with you to create a custom design that will draw from the earlier group assessment process. As the workshop draws to a close, participants will have a clear direction on their next steps and a sense of renewed purpose in their work together.
“You are excellent at hearing what is being said, responding immediately, and keeping us moving forward.”
“Thank you for having high expectations of a community discouraged with itself. We have started believing in ourselves again!”
“Sidney, I really enjoyed your friendly manner – easy-going, no pressure, and very insightful!”
